Norwex’s mission to help people have healthier homes isn’t based only on its sale of green cleaning products. Not by a long shot!
Norwex recently gave a $2,500 grant to Girls On The Run Western Colorado in Grand Junction, Colo., a nonprofit that is part running club and part character building for girls in grades 3-8.
“It teaches them to be great people, to stand up for themselves. It’s a program that helps them learn real life lessons,” head coach Candace Diaz told Western Slope Now.
A Norwex representative personally delivered the check — which was among more than $150,000 donated to charities and causes in 2015. The company donated $100,000 the previous year.
