I never, ever set out to sell green cleaning products or make friends all over the country while helping people build their own successful businesses. No, not me. Not by a long shot — as I’ve explained many times when recounting my Norwex journey. I just thought signing up to be an Independent Norwex sales consultant was an easy way to score discounts on the cleaning products that would help my friends and me rid of our homes of toxic chemicals.
Yet here I am, working through another December with brighter hope than ever for a great, new year of business-building for myself and others. After joining Norwex, I quickly learned that I didn’t just love Norwex products and the corporate mission underpinning them, I also loved sharing with others simple ways to clean better, faster and more affordably.
When my first clients expressed interest in forming their own Norwex businesses, I have to confess that I was both excited and more than a little freaked out. It’s one thing to take your own risks. It’s another to encourage someone else to take a risk — but I did, and we did, and now, there are thousands of people on our sales-savvy and highly supportive Green Team. It is one of the most successful Norwex sales teams in the world.
