Through my work with Norwex, I’ve had the good fortune to meet the most incredible people. (I’m doubly blessed because so many of them collaborate with me on a daily basis as members of my Go Green Team!)

Independent Norwex Consultants come from cities, towns and villages from all corners of the country and all backgrounds. They find their way to Norwex for a variety of reasons. A concern for the environment, an interest in a healthy, sustainable lifestyle, a desire to save time and money on cleaning, or a need to earn income on a flexible schedule, may drive their decision to sign on.

The one thing we all have in common, though, is that we get so much more out of our experience than we ever expected including being part of a great community and having a lot of fun while sharing our passion for Norwex’s products and mission and creating safe havens.

If you are considering a career with Norwex, I encourage you to be inspired by the experiences shared by the consultants and leaders in the Go Green Team. You’ll find that they started out with the same concerns and questions you may have, and overcame them to build thriving businesses and change their lives.

My Journey

Name: Jodi Costanzo

Title within Norwex: Senior Executive Sales Leader

Where to find me online: www.jodicostanzo.norwex.biz

How long I’ve been with the company: 2 years, 4 months

Where I live now, and where I’m originally from: I live in Tega Cay, South Carolina. I’m originally from Chicago, Illinois

How I started selling Norwex: I began sharing Norwex after attending a party and falling in love with the prospect of using only water to clean, reducing my costs and the time spent on cleaning. Most of all, I wanted to reduce the asthmatic symptoms members of my family were experiencing because of chemicals in the environment. I wanted my daughters to live in a home with fewer toxins, and Norwex was the perfect solution!

What has surprised me most during my Norwex journey: I am always amazed by how the products work so well for so long and by how many lives have been changed by switching to Norwex. These products truly do reduce allergies, disease and help families save time and money. The “ripple effect” is real!

The most difficult challenge I’ve faced to get to where I am within Norwex — and how I’ve overcome it: I’ve had to work hard to overcome my own perceptions, misconceptions, and ideas about what it means to “sell” something. Reframing my perspective was life-changing. I don’t feel that I’m “selling” to my friends and family. I truly feel like I am helping them lead a healthier and more efficient lifestyle. I’m so grateful that Norwex provides me with the tools to help people I love experience the difference it can make in their lives.

Advice that I wish I had had, or had taken more to heart, as a beginner consultant: I wish I had gone to team meetings earlier. The support is transformative — both for your business and your heart!

How I balance selling for Norwex and time for myself, my family and my friends: That is the million-dollar question! I’m blessed to have an extremely supportive husband and kids who go with the flow. I try to limit my Norwex nights to three per week and my office hours to when my kids are at school.

My favorite Norwex product: The EnviroCloth is my favorite, hands down. It really changed my life, and I’m so happy that I can share it with my friends, children’s teachers and family. I feel like I have been able to make a real difference for my family, my loved ones and the environment by discontinuing the use of paper towels, toxic sprays, and inefficient wipes!

My favorite themed party to sell at:  The wine and shine has been a crowd pleaser…..for obvious reasons! We all get to enjoy wine while I show guests the many ways Norwex makes things shine.

How I like to spend my free time: My favorite hobby is cooking. I love the alone time and providing for the people I love.  I also really enjoy playing tennis. To relax, I like to watch goofy movies and TV, or read. My favorite book is The Little Prince in French or English. I like to remember that the innocent, child-like, dreaming part of us is always in there…we just need to remember to listen for it and recognize it.
